We are so excited to introduce our next guest teacher, Atticus Mooney. This radiant beam of light will be visiting Humble Haven on June 16 to lead a Sound Healing Workshop. Atticus curated this workshop to heighten your awareness, restore your energetic balance, and rejuvenate your state of being on a cellular level via a 60 minute asana class followed by a 60 minute soothing and meditative sound bath.

Atticus believes magic lies within the grey area of transitions and unknowns that propels us into transcendent opportunities for self-reflection, connection and growth. Movement and sound are her portals to spirit; as a formally trained dancer, an intuitive and yoga teacher she synthesizes her understanding of form and appreciation of the formless to curate transformational events. As a 500-hour RYT she facilitates yoga classes and yoga teacher trainings internationally; she has taught for the Hirshhorn Museum of Modern Art, the Kennedy Center and US Botanical Gardens in Washington, DC. She is the visionary founder of bhAva, a community organization that aims to promote conscious connection with substance-free dance parties, Mayan cacao ceremonies and sound healing meditations. Additionally, she is the founder and producer of Ecstatic Dance DC and Baltimore, chapters in a global network of free form conscious dance communities. No matter the form or place, she continues to to be amazed by the power of the human body and spirit.

The workshop she is bringing to Humble Haven is open to all levels of asana and meditation experience. Crystal singing bowls, which correlate with the chakra meridians in the body, are utilized to guide participants on a deep aural journey.

We are so excited to host her and attend this workshop ourselves! Let's spend the evening together feeling electric and radiant.
