Mama to 1 little boy and passionate about making a conscious contribution to the Richmond community through the practice and teaching of yoga. Suzanne began her teaching career in Power Yoga, receiving her 200-hour teaching certification from Down Dog Yoga under the instruction of Patty Ivey. Suzanne went on to study with Sonia Sumar becoming licensed practitioner of Yoga for the Special Child, specializing in teaching to children and young adults with special needs. When the desire came for Suzanne to start a family of her own, she was drawn to the Khalsa Way 85-hour Prenatal Teaching Program developed and led by Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa based on Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan. The guidance Suzanne received from all her teachers not only deeply influences the way she teaches, but the way she lives her life. Her intention as a teacher is to empower her students to call on their own inner wisdom to guide them through their yoga practice, on and off the mat.
