HHY Yoga Build Summer Intensive

Curriculum: 

  • In-depth study of free weight movements for a physically balanced class 
  • In-depth study of yoga postures for preparatory, foundational, and restorative movement
  • Sequencing, pacing, and cueing for mutli level classes 
  • Classroom set up and safety 

What else to expect: 

Humble Haven's Yoga Build Weekend Intensive is designed to teach active yoga and certified fitness instructors the methodology of our Yoga Build offering. During this weekend long program, participants will study both body movements involving free weights, as well as, yoga postures used to prepare and balance the body.  We will offer a focus on practice teaching with the hope that all participants feel prepared to lead a class of this style upon completion. 

Dates / Hours: 

  • Wednesday, 9/6: 5-9pm
  • Friday, 9/8: 5-9pm
  • Saturday, 9/9: 10:30am-3:30pm
  • *Recommended to plan on taking class Thursday, 9/7 at 12pm or 6:15pm*

Investment: 

  • $350: Full Payment Received by July 15th 
  • $400: Full Payment Received by August 9th
  • *Not a Yoga Alliance registered program*
  • *Must be a registered yoga teacher or certified fitness instructor to participate*

HHY 200-hour 2018

Curriculum:

  • In-depth Asana Study
  • Meditation and Pranayama
  • Study of Yoga Principles
  • Anatomy Intensive
  • Sequencing, pacing, and cueing vinyasa, power vinyasa, and multi level classes
  • Specialty Populations and Modifications (including prenatal and special needs)
  • Hands on Assisting
  • Giving and Receiving Feedback
  • The Business of Yoga

What else to expect:

Humble Haven’s 200-hour Teacher Training Program is designed to explore different styles of yoga teaching while aiming to empower each individual participant with the tools to teach a class and simultaneously deepen their own practice.  We will offer a focus on practice teaching to both program leads and fellow trainees, as well as, an in-depth study of the history, anatomy, and transformative power of yoga through asana, pranayama, and meditation.

Hours:

  • Fridays: 5-9pm
  • Saturdays: 8:30am-4:30pm
  • Sundays: 7am-4pm 

Investment:

  • $2700: Full payment received before 10/31/17
  • $3000: Payment made after 10/31/17
