This 6 week series is designed to take the worry or nerves away from your first yoga experience. This series is for the absolute beginner or the student somewhat new to the practice that desires a deeper introduction.
The Beginners Series provides in depth explanations of foundational yoga postures, focusing on alignment, the importance of breath, and calming the mind. Six consecutive classes will build upon each other so you may graduate feeling comfortable attending any yoga class.
Classes are held every Monday at 6pm (7/31-9/4) OR every Tuesday at 12pm (8/1-9/5). Register for the class time that makes the most sense for your schedule. If you are unable to attend any of the six sessions, you are welcome attend the same class during another ongoing session.
What To Bring/Wear/Do:
- dress in comfortable, workout clothing that allow your body to move freely
- bring a yoga mat (if you do not have one, mats are available at the studio)
- bring a reusable water bottle
- stay hydrated & well nourished, but come on a light stomach
