Yoga nidra is a set of deep relaxation techniques intended to guide you into a meditative state encouraging an overall sense of well-being and a sense of rejuvenation. Utilizing guided imagery and body scanning to aid in relaxation, practitioners will be given time to physiologically and psychologically sink into the practice. Yoga nidra has also been referred to as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness.
