Ashley Chambers
Studio Owner
Ashley Chambers began her yoga teaching journey in 2006 after completing an intensive nine-week teacher training in the Ghosh/Bikram lineage. She went on to study, practice, and teach throughout Los Angeles for many years, and feels especially grateful to have practiced the Ghosh 84 advanced asanas under the guidance of the legendary Emmy Cleaves. Over the years, Ashley has traveled and taught internationally, sharing yoga in studios around the world while continuing to deepen her own practice through traditions such as Ashtanga and Iyengar.
Committed to a holistic and integrative understanding of wellness, Ashley attended the California College of Ayurveda in Nevada City, where she became certified as an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, Ayurvedic massage therapist, and Yoga Nidra facilitator under Dr. Marc Halpern. She is also a certified Corrective Exercise Therapist through the Egoscue Method, specializing in postural alignment and pain-free movement to help clients restore balance, function, and vitality from the inside out.
After nearly twenty years of teaching, traveling, and living in California, Ashley felt a strong calling to return to her home state of Virginia to be closer to family and to put down roots. When she discovered Humble Haven, she immediately resonated with its heartfelt dedication to Hatha yoga and the warm, welcoming community it fosters — making it a natural and meaningful next chapter as both a teacher and studio owner.
