About Liza
Liza grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and spent ten years living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan before moving to Richmond in 2008 to teach high school math.
An active person throughout her life, Liza played a variety of team sports and attended many group fitness classes, including yoga. She has been a regular practitioner at Humble Haven for nearly six years and recently completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training.
When she's not in the classroom or on her mat, you can find Liza hiking along the river with her partner, Rodney, and their rescue dog, Annie. She also enjoys reading, doing puzzles of all kinds, and embracing moments of stillness.
