Power Up: Arm Balances
Power Up: Arm Balances is a three-week workshop series designed to help students explore arm balances through strength, mobility, and playful experimentation.
Each 75 minute session focuses on a different movement pattern that supports arm balancing and builds toward more advanced postures in a supportive environment. Students will explore variations, build confidence, and develop the strength and awareness needed to lift off the mat.
The room with be heated to 85 degrees.
This series is open to anyone curious about arm balances or looking to expand their practice. No special equipment is required beyond standard studio props.
Week 1 – Twists | Exploring rotational strength and stability through poses like Side Crow and Eight Angle Pose.
Week 2 – Hamstrings | Building posterior chain strength and length to work toward Flying Splits and Firefly.
Week 3 – Hips | Opening and stabilizing the hips to explore Flying Pigeon and Grasshopper.
Expect a dynamic, supportive practice that encourages curiosity, exploration, and growth.
Investment: $80 full series pass or $30 drop-ins available.
